SPONSOR A HORSE
We have a fantastic herd. All shapes, sizes and colors! They all are equally perfect, just as we are in God’s eyes. We have a few options to sponsor below. If you are led to Sponsor and make a minimum donation of $250.00, you will get to spend an hour with sponsored horse! All of your donations go towards caring for your horse. From feed and bedding, to vet and farrier care! It truly takes a village, especially in ministry. Help us grow ours today!
Sky is at the heart of the horse ministry. He is a sweet, loving guy. He tends to forget how hold he actually is and has fallen head over hooves in love with Rain. He has a quite noticeable larger front knee where he has developed arthritis. He makes a great reading buddy and despite not being able to be ridden anymore, loves to show off his dance moves!
Rain is a little bit shy and acts like she doesn’t want to be a partake, but underneath her stubbornness, she is a big sweetheart. She still has spunky tantrums despite her age. She is savvy enough to just eat the applesauce and not the medication! She is the oldest of our herd and recently had a trip to Purdue to undergo some testing. After an ultrasound of her abdomen, we discovered a large mass. We have decided to let her be completely and utterly spoiled for her final days. We are keeping her super comfortable and she has been LOVING the extra treats!
Sugar is super sweet but can be shy. She just takes a minute to warm up to you. She is often chosen due to her sweet little muzzle and her eyelashes. She loves to be groomed and LOVES to graze with all of her friends.
Sonny is the best girl and leader of our herd. She is quiet and adores attention. Sonny is quite literally bomb proof and is the most trusted horse on the property. She just had surgery to remove cancer from her eye and has recovered amazingly. Sonny is the rockstar of our program and we wish we could clone her!
Gary is a miniature version of Sky. He found his forever home with us after being returned by a rescue. He is beautifully and wonderfully made and we are truly fortunate to have been able to adopt him. We are discovering great qualities Gary has every day. He loves the big horses and they love him. He is a natural at the farm and people are drawn to his beautiful unique blue eyes.
Ruger is the best boy and totally reliable for all things. Ruger is the “Ken” of the barn and knows just how handsome he is. Ruger has special front shoes due to a navicular issue. He is kept quite comfortable with injections and medication. He is another fan favorite and enjoys meandering about with all of his little friends on his back. Ruger is trust worthy and just the sweetest.
